Wattle sugar is a sugar mix made from roasted and ground wattleseed blended with Australian raw sugar. It’s designed to be used wherever you may use sugar in baking.

The warm coffee/chocolate/hazelnut flavour and scent of the wattleseed goes through your baking and gives it a distinctively warm, round nutty flavour.

Use wattle sugar in:

  • Wattle bikkies
  • Wattleseed ANZACs (or oat biscuits)
  • Sweet breads
  • Cooked into, or sprinkled over, breakfast and brunch dishes such as pancakes, French toast, or porridge
  • Making sugar syrup for sorbets and cocktails
  • Sweetening serving cream
  • Custard, particularly for making icecream
